한국 가수나 보이그룹 중에는 대표적으로 2개를 꼽을 수 있어요. 바로 신화와 빅뱅입니다. 이미 유명한 그들이지만 이 두 그룹이 왜 BTS 멤버들이 롤 모델로 생각하는지 알아볼게요.

첫 번째 롤모델 - 신화

BTS의 데뷔 시절의 롤모델은 신화라고 해요. BTS의 데뷔 초에는 팀 구호도 없어서 멤버들 간에 인사 타이밍이 맞지 않아 신화 멤버들이 따로 불러서 지적해줬고, 그 이후로 구호를 만들어서 인사하게 되었다고 해요. BTS가 그룹 신화의 This Love, T.O.P와 Perfect Man을 커버하고, 그 영상을 한국의 유명 TV프로 '나 혼자 산다'에서 신화 멤버 김동완이 보며 감탄했었던 적도 있다고 해요. 특이한 사실로 BTS의 퍼포먼스 디렉터인 손성득 안무가가 신화 백댄서 출신이라서 BTS의 영상 중에는 신화 커버곡이 유독 많다고 합니다.

두 번째 롤모델 - 빅뱅

BTS 멤버들이 대체로 BIGBANG의 팬이며 그들의 영향을 많이 받았다고 해요. 데뷔 후 인터뷰에서 BTS는 롤모델로 삼고 있는 그룹으로 빅뱅을 꼽았으며 실제 대기실에서 빅뱅의 노래를 틀어놓고 따라 부르는 모습이 자주 비하인드 카메라에 포착되었어요. 정국은 지드래곤의 'Heartbreaker'를 듣고 가수를 꿈꿨으며, 미국 인터뷰에서는 BIGBANG의 '하루하루'를 듣고 음악적으로 영향을 받았다고 했어요. 특히 지드래곤의 팬인 멤버들이 많아요.
